Further details and special features

- The Corniche convertible could also be delivered with a two-tone paint scheme.
- From mid 1979 the Corniche got an important modification that was introduced officially only on the Silver Spirit and Bentley Mulsanne (late 1980). The rear suspension was modified and the hydraulic system was prepared for mineral oil. These Corniches got a chassisnumber in the 50000-series.

The Corniche convertible with a chassisnumber above 50000 has a modified rear suspension and a hydraulic system that was prepared for mineral oil. At the rear this can be recognised by the spread twin exhaust. This car has a two-tone paint scheme, something that became more rare during the years.

This probably is the last Bentley Corniche convertible, produced in 1983, delivered in January 1984. The Bentley Corniche convertible kept the rectangular reversing lights until the last car, also the identification plate at the right rear side and the spread twin exhaust.
